free form progressives and slab off prism

    Hello:

A student of mine has suggested that free form technology would be a wonderful way of generating slab off prism in a progressive lens without producing a line.

For all you lens designers out there: is this a possibility or merely sci-fi?

    Thanks.

    Daniel
