I had great experience with a large, well known frame company on Friday.
As many on here know, I'm not fond of sales reps and less fond of some of the Big companies. The regional sales manager from company pops in unannounced Fri. I make him wait until I am good and ready and tell him to make it quick. He wants to talk to me about why I told one of his reps that I won't be needing her service or that of her companies anymore. I said because I am a straight shooter and I am sick of your company and all the reps. Our conversation went something like this:
him: well whats the problem
me: your frames cost too much, have the highest breakage of any other line I carry, combined, and I am sick of the backorders.
him: all that is resolved now.
me: sure
him: we have no more breakage issues, we discontinued that line.
me: well, thats great, what about all of them that I sold and still have to repair.
him: well, its taken care of.
me: how
him: ah..ah..ah..we are reducing backorders too.
me: great
him: we want you back, what can we do to get back in here?
me: nothing
him: we really value your business, what can we do
me: what incentives, discounts, or special buys can you give me.
him: well, nothing...you are at max discount, we aren't doing dated billing right now, and there are no specials running.
me: I'll leave out my comments, use your imaginations!!!!
What a bunch of flipping jokers. I am SO glad that I finally have seen the light and came to my senses to not believe the HYPE and MARKETING garbage these jokers spill forth.
