What is a Malcolm X frame?
I am sure it has proper name, but the type I need is just like the dude himself wore. Ray Ban had a pair suns like it too - Clubman or somethig like that.
Call Scott at Allyn Scura eyewear and ask for the Barton frame. Tell him Jim from Encore sent you. I know he has them. also you can see them at www.allynscuraeyewear.com 1-800 eyes 4u2

Ronsir or Clubman.
What color and size you looking for? I got a few laying around.
pm what's avail along with prices please.
Cheers.
Thanks for Allyn Scura tip.
I think I have an Rx able Ray Ban like that, if desired send me a private message or E. Mail.

Try Shuron:

Look at the Escapades, Ronsir Timberline and Ronsir Woodgrain.
I checked my stock. I only have the "Kingsley Deluxe" and his sister "Majesty Deluxe" from Imperial Optical Mfg. Co. It is in the same style, but aluminum top and the colors on all of mine are mink(bronze), size is 44-24 for most. I might have 2 dozen or so.
The above posted links should get you closer to what you are looking for.
Maybe try contacting a fellow Optiboarder: Walleye, he may have a drawer or two of these laying around.
Try the Rayban 5020. It's more rectangular than squarish though. The sunglass was the Clubmaster.
Try Artcraft for the clubmaster...essentially the same as the Rayban clubman
Shuron RonSir?
Marchon/Marcolin had one similar years ago as well

I had a patient buy a Ronsir off the internet. He brought it in and had us put lenses in it. We warned him about the thickness as his rx was about -10.00. Actually they weren't that thick because we used 1.74 but they still looked horrible and the temples were too short.
It used to be you ordered a front...by proper eyesixe and bridge and then a pair of temples of appropriate length. This frame and many others like it was designed in an age where glasses were made to fit the patient/customer well. perhaps locating an additional pair of longer temples would help the matter
