Chris I believe you mean 21st century!

Also Not that I have a problem with you plugging your product but did you not post this on another thread!

    Quote from Chris Ryser:
I personally do plug some of my owns products when the occasion arises in a discussion on lab applications of such items, specially when I was the first one to introduce them.

However it looks to me that Optical Chemicals is using the Optiboard continously for free direct advertising which gets boring because it is alway's the same song. Furthermore these same themes have been discussed at lenght over the last few years and are in the archives for anybody to look up. End quote

Thanks Mike.....it was very early this morning before coffee and brainwaves not really wavy.

For the rest of your comments I would reply that I did not even have my website on regular post's until............................ I never had my company name and full address under the sigmature. Neither do you and all of the others. I would also add that optical Chemicals has nothing to do with me, and is a different entity.

After all this is the Market Place which is meant for that purpose and I have no inhibitions to post here from time to time. If it is grounds for a discussion, so be it.

If he is doing something wrong I'm sure that the moderators would take care of it!
You have been the optiboard sole chemical guy for years and it just sounds like a turf war brought on by you.

Furthermore,I think you have posted a link to your website about 10,000,000 times more than any other boarder will ever do. (Not that there is anything wrong with that)

I think there is room for both of your opinions!

It's acutally enjoy reading your war. It's like Rosie and Donald.

    Agree with Chris

I agree with Chris, this is the "Market Place" thread which is for advertising, buying and selling........ I commend Chris for his innovate ideas for new products and have a deep appreciation for his wealth of experience and knowledge.

As to our signature, it is similar to our email signature. Branding is an important component of marketing. We desire our message to be identified with a specific business, Optical Chemicals. We market our products with a focus on safety which is how we wish to be thought of. Chris markets his products based on his style. We are just different, which is what makes this board valuable.

Actually there is no war, I have talked to Larry long before he joined the Optiboard and we had some good conversations, I might even have suggested to him to join in.

He is doing it his way and I do it mine and we don't always have to agree with each other.

As my website contains over 300 pages and a lot of explanatory pages I would be stupid not to point to a page that covers a subject in a discussion.

    A good guy

Chris and I have spoken directly a number of times. If he ever needed help I would be the first to step up and help and I believe he would do the same for me. Some folks like pie and some like cake. Both are good, just different.
