    Chain Employee posting

    Am I walking on thin ice when I suggest everyone (especially those who work for large chains) be reminded to be very careful what you say when you post?

    I think this has been brought up in the past but I think it bears repeating that employers can potentially identify you from your posts and use it against you in the future.

    Again this is just a heads up for the newbies to Optiboard!

    Though I read the above mentioned posts with gleeful interest I have to agree. Never assume anything you say online is private. On the other hand, anyone who publicly slaps the hand that feeds them should probably be looking for another place to get fed anyway.

    Very true.

    Remeber the news earlier this year that a guy worked for a major US beer company in PR dept got fired because he drank competitor's brand beer in a bar after work.

    Be careful of what you do/say even on your own time.
