    PALs and monocular vision

Does anyone know if any of the (available in the U.S.) free-form/direct to surface PALs can be made with either zero near inset, or some other specified near inset?

ICE-TECH Advanced Lens Technologies is currently evaluating the movement of the near optical center relative to the far optical center. The big problem is not offering too many variables since individualized lenses are relatively new to market. With our wide reading no-distortion reading area, I do not see much need for this.

Our main reason for doing this is to be able to adjust the inset for our wrap around lens technology

    Robert Martellaro ,
Try to contact Zeiss or Hoya rep. Zeiss Gradal Individual can do inset 0.00 mm and Hoyalux iD also can do , but you need to inform in your order that , Distance P.D. & Near P.D. exactly the same and remark inset 0.00 mm.

Thanks Bobbie, those were the two companies I was hoping could do this. Heretofore, I've had the lab rotate the lens to change the inset, a less elegant and accurate solution.
