    Davis Vision

I just got a call from a Davis Vision rep,and she told me that they are going to replace our tower. She also said that it is our responsibility to dispose of the old tower and that they do NOT pay for disposal. Has anyone else had this problem?

So they are sending you a new tower at no charge? Open the back door and throw the old one out. Even the sattelite tv people tell you to just throw out the old dish.

Hey...don't throw that ****** out! Frame displays are getting harder to come by.

I would fill it with "value" frames from a few of the best, small frame companies that are out there. Some are Optiboard members! I would use these frames as "specials", BOGO, second pair discounts, free frame with lens purchase, whatever to move product. Put your "dogs" on there and blow 'em out with a fire sale, end of year clearance, whatever.

That thing holds a lot of frames, small foot print..turn it into a profit center(something it probably has never been!)!!

Absolutely! I wanted a locking tower case and could not find one anywhere unless I wanted to buy one. I didn't. I put the word out and Viva came through. Do I use it for Viva frames? Sometimes, but not usually. I never throw out a display if it can be used for something else and it always can be used for something else.

    Davis tower

Let me explain. The tower is over 6 feet tall, approx 80 lbs.,is yellow and falling apart. The sunglass racks at a gas station are better looking than this junk. Its too big to fit in our dumpster and it will cost me about 125.00 to have a removal company take it.keep in mind how little Davis pays us.

 Next time your Viva Rep aka Davis Vision rep comes you can have one of your employees sneak out the back door and bungee it to the top of his/her car. A nice finishing touch would be some cheap looking magnetic signs made up to place on the doors which say "DAVIS VISION - FREE GLASSES"

Put on a hockey mask and use a chainsaw. Or an axe, get out some frustration. Smaller pieces easier to dispose of.

Took down an old desk with an axe last week but left the axe in the corner. Some customers saw the axe and asked questions. Had some fun with it.

Well you could always go the Clint Eastwood/Dirty Harry way and ask it if it feels lucky....well does it, punk...

A shotgun blast or two would certainly vent some pent up frustration.

Above is all assuming you are a qualified gun handler and understand the inherent danger in above statements. ;^)
