Jo,
Many thanks for the link to AO history. My dad was an AO distributor back in the '40s (and thru the '70s) and I have all four of the AO prints they gave him: "Eyes Examined", "Spectacle Peddler", "Watches and Eyeglasses", and "Spectacles by Mail". I don't know if they are worth much to sell (which I wouldn't), but they hang here in my office and remind me of working with my dad- the best optician that existed on this earth. Again, many thanks for the link, and I'll forward it on to some of my old AO contacts.

Jo, Great Find! Loved the site.My Grandfather was working for the old Globe Optical company in the early 1900's managing a branch in Rochester NY.The Well's bought Globe and brought my grandfather to Spfld MA as the first branch manager there.Needless to say we were very familiar with the HEY HO company! Thanks for the trip!

This is great. You should see the ads I found at an antique mall from the Saturday Evening Post that feature the release of the Ful-Vue frame. I have them framed and displayed in my collection cases.
