    Question question

If a product that you had been using for years started having back order issues, and you felt you had to go to a diffrent vendor for that product, what would it take for you to go back to your original vendor?

Major sucking up. Have had too many excellent vendors who once they started screwing up never came back to anything close to what they were. If they did convince me to come back, you can bet that any screw up in the future would mean the kiss of death.

Generally, with frame vendors the perpetual back order is the kiss of death. As it usually means the frame is having breakage problems, is a hot number or is being phased out. I can't inconvenience myself or my customers so the frame line or frame style will no longer be carried in our stock. I have never had any vendors where this is a problem with all of their lines so have continued to do business with their other products.
