My old man simply takes his glasses and sets them on the dispensing table and waits... and waits... and when the patient is silly enough to ask him what he's doing, he simply responds that he's waiting for his glasses to do what theirs did.
My own favorite is the state assistance patient who came in and politely asked if I could put the medicine back in her glasses...It fell out cause she can't see too well.
