free online abo/ncle study materials?

Anybody know of any websites that will help supplement the online abo/ncle review modules I bought from quantumopticals? I have only gone through the ABO review and Im having a hard time understand some of the topics since it doesn't really go much in details and to help me understand the material. I also saw a few errors on the slides which confuses me even more. Im trying to get that straighten out with Michael as we speak. Also if theres a website that contains some test questions since the practice examine at the end of each review doesnt tell me which one I got wrong or right. Thanks in advance

I'm sure it's no help now but within a year (hopefully less) there will be a free approx. 300p ABO study guide any one can down load at www.technicalopticians.org . It will be very comprehensive.

Do you have any specific questions, or formula uncertanies? Ask any question, fire away. I will try to help in any way pssible. I might add that the newest edition has a great article on optical formulas written by our own OptiDonn who responded above!

Not Yet

Nothing free online yet. The most reasonable review course online is about $100 for just written materials. If you want video/audio tapes also, then you are looking at $190 and up. I can give you url addresses for ordering them.

My college sponsors two review Saturdays (separate Saturdays for ABO then NCLE) about a month before each test. We charge $40 for each review which is 6 hours of intensive class time and all written materials. Unfortunately, you need to be in the Southern California area to take advantage of this

It's not free, but I found a review CD for ABO/NCLE for a reasonable price ($13.99, plus $1.99 shipping). There is a demo at this site: http://maxtransfer7.com/OpticianTest.html

I just placed the order today, so I'll let everyone know if I passed the NCLE after using it.
