    Confused Physio vs. Physio 360

I'm wondering if anyone else out there has more information than I do.
I've used the physio lenses for a few months now, and most people have expressed great satisfaction. My question is this: what is the difference between the regular physio and the 360? My essilor rep is great, and I love him, but he doesn't really understand what he's saying sometimes...
He's new to the optical business and his explanation to me of what wavefront lens technology is would make you crack up. So, here I am trying to upsell this lens and I'm at a loss. What my doctor keeps saying is that the physio is all ground on the back, vs the 360 which is ground on both surfaces. Is that right? I thought the point of the phsyio in general was using both surfaces. And while you're at it, what IS wavefront technology??
My rep said this, "Ok, you know how if you put a balloon in the microwave, it puffs up? And then if you cut the four corners, it lays flat again. That's wavefront" I'm thinking...WHAT??
I'd just like to be a little more educated about this lens.
Oh, and one more question: is it true that these lenses can read off in the lensometer? After three months of them all looking great, I've recently had two different pt's lenses coming in with .25 cyl when none was prescribed and my lab's telling me it's because they don't read as well on the lensometer... but you can turn that axis wheel and CLEARLY see it switch from the sph lines to the cyl lines.
    Thanks in advance!!

Varilux Physio 360 is the "free-form optimized" version of Varilux Physio. Basically, a standard Varilux Physio semi-finished lens blank has an optimized Rx surface generated on the back using a free-form generator (a process Essilor refers to as "direct surfacing" or "Digital Surfacing"). Unlike a traditional (toric) lens surface, this optimized surface can eliminate additional aberrations associated with the "position of wear" and the wearer's individual prescription.

Varilux Physio is the best PALs in old technology.
But Valilux Physio 360 is one of the new technology that called " free form technology "

Physio is design from the most group of data base from Varilux Ipseo.
But Physio 360 is double surface PALs like HOYA ID

The unique of free form PALs is " cannot check accurate power by lensometer "

BUT now in THAILAND no have PHYSIO in the market.
