20/20 Magazine CE

I'd almost stopped paying attention to continuing education courses and similar articles in trade magazines over the years, but I've really been impressed with the stuff appearing in the past few issues of 20/20. They've had some high quality articles on coatings, wrapped lenses, etcetera. The magazine has definitely improved a lot over the years (at one point, it seemed geared mainly toward frame advertisements, but now offers quite a few substantive articles, as well as the Lenses & Technology column).

Anyway, if you don't already have a subscription to the magazine, you might check it out.

This last CE about scratch coatings was great. I also enjoyed the last few done by our very own Barry Santini and Lee Prewitt. I still don't care for the rest of the magazine. As long as they keep up with the good CE's I'll keep my subscription.

Darryl, Brian Rossi was just in to day and told me to say Hi to you. He was talking about the GT2 looks nice.

I agree. They have definitely improved. I am impressed. I believe your CE on progressives in the latest issue of 20/20 or was it, Vision Care Product News, titled "Fundamentals of PROGRESSIVE LENS DESIGN" was the most informative that I have read, EVER! Thank you for the hard work and effort that you put into it!

Yeah, it was a Zeiss-sponsored supplement in VisionCare Product News. Glad you liked it though, Fezz. Maybe I'll upload it to the File Archives in a week or two.
