I just received the August issue of Eyecare Business, it announced that Bob Bieber passed away in July. He was an awesome contributor to our industry, and will be greatly missed.
Rip Bob, and thanks for everything! Terry Agin

How sad, :(
I saw some videos of him lecturing about optical sales. Very engaging and I learned a lot by listening to him on those tapes. He was very down to earth and had an old school wit and common sense.
If you ever get a chance to read anything he has written be sure to do so.
excel you are exactly right as i knew Bob and heard a number of his seminars, he will be missed
Bieb actually passed away in June and was buried in July. I served with him a number of years ago on the NAO board, and knew him way before then. I was able to attend his 75th birthday roast a number of years ago, and the stories were great.
He was a true gentleman, and was always optimistic even through his battle with cancer. We should always look at the bright side the way he did. The world would be a better place if we did. I know it's a better place because he was here.
Anyway, I miss him along with a lot of other folks.
Diane
Anything worth doing is worth doing well.
I used to hire Bob to give 2 day courses to my frame sales reps in the 1970s and all the reps made good use of his witty courses. Good memories.
'The Bieb'.
This is very sad news...
He was an awesome person and presenter.
We will miss him for sure.
My sentiments are like Diane's. Beib was a wonderful person. Always considerate and dedicated. I, too, have good memories of him through the years. He was always a mentor. I was sorry to see his passing. We do not live forever, but, we do touch the lives of so many others. We often take our opportunities for granted.
