What is the average discount your employer will give to your family members? Just curious.

I work at a private office and the family discount is 30% off retail value off frames and lens.
This only applies to immediate family, and the eye exams are $20 plus another $20 for contact fitting. That only applies when the doctor/owner is giving the exam.
Benefits for myself is much much BETTER.
100% They are family! If they have insureance, I bill the insureance.
Family means a lot in the South.
immediate family 100 percent.
Cousins, depends. As much as cost.
For immediate family, Husband and child, it is cost.
For my extended family.. ie my sister and her 5 kids all needing vision correction, it is typically 25%.

For myself and immediate family we pay the cost of the materials. We get free exams.
For my mom, brothers or sister in law I can give a 30% dicount. It used to be 50% but it was changed.
Here is a question. What is your discount for employees (and how many times)?
For employees: 100% they are family too, and we offer little enough in benefits.
It seemed this issue was always coming up at the last office I managed. The way it eventually shook out...
Exams free and materials at cost for employees and family members living in the same home (if the employee was given product by a rep, that was okay- but we made sure everyone had more or less the opportunity to enjoy free product).
30% off for family members not living at home (or something like that).
