    Angle of Astigmatism Correction

Do people with a mostly horizontal axis versus a mostly vertical axis have better or worse luck with progressives?

    Confused

I honestly don't really think it matters too much. Especially with a relatively low cylinder power. However, with an axis close to 90, your astigmatism correction will show up on the horizontal axis. Therefore, the edges of the lens with be thicker on sides than at top and bottom. But, in my experience the angle of astigmatism has nothing to do with progressive adaptation (unless we're talking about a 4 cylinder or something).
All major progressive lens manufacturers have a non-adapt warranty anyway. Some people just can't do progressives, others are highly sensative to which lens is used.
