Thanks for that
I was looking at the coolpix 995 as well.Do I need an adaptor to attach this to the slit lamp.I see a thing called an F adaptor on ebay.Would this be the one?Am I right in saying that I need to take the card from the camera and upload them onto my computer? can I not link the camera to a computer screen with these commercial cameras? I would be interesred to know if you are using any special software for the images or are you loading them onto something like my pictures. Can you take any images of the fundus with the volk lens with this camera?
Thanks for all your help
pete
If you're using a Coolpix, you will need to know the inside diameter of your slit lamp. The Haag Streight has an inside diamteer of 26mm. the Mentor 28mm. The F Adapter is used to attach the film version the Nikon SLR cameras to a microscope.
I just take the card out and up load to my computer. I use Picassa for cataloging.
It is difficult to take a fundus photo with a Volk and Slit lamp. Here is a sample, though
Could you use picaso with a proper fundus camera?
thanks
