Toric and dry eyes contacts question

I've been using Coopervision Proclear Toric and was wondering if Acuvue Advanced with Astigmatism would be better for my extremely dry eyes? Or would their even be a difference at all? I got 2 different answers from the place I went to. Any help appreciated.

According to the salesmen and advertizers both are highly superior to the other.

Ask your practioner he gets paid for listening to stuff like this.

I did thus the two different answers I got. Anyhow, if anyone is interested, I can recommend that acuvue advance with astigmatism is worth a shot to try as a trial pair since for me personally it was better. Though, from what I read, it will depend on the wearer’s reaction to the difference of material?

No one can predict in advance which one will make your eyes feel less dry. Consult with your eyecare practitioner. Perhaps he or she can arrange a trial of both.

I do think that AV Advance Toric are A LITTLE better than Proclear Toric for dry eyes. They are however, two-week lenses vs monthly lenses of Proclear and they rip fairly easy. I would give them a shot but don't expect any miracles. Severe dry eye patients shouldn't really be wearing contacts at all.

I have found that it goes both way depending on the person
