    I only got to see them live once....Mason Jar, Phoenix AZ early 90's. Maybe 50 people were there.

    Personally, I think Alice in Chains was the best group to come out of the "grunge" movement. But I do hold both Nirvana and Pearl Jam in high regard.

    I like Nirvana and I liked the old Pearl Jam. I am not a big fan of there new stuff though. Just out of curiousity how old is everyone that is responding to this thread? I am 26

    Marshall Tucker
    Alman Brothers
    Janis Joplin
    Jefferson Airplane


    That era, I guess it depends on when you were born.

    De La Soul
    Run DMC
    Doug E Fresh
    Salt and Peppa
    Grandmaster Flash

    However, I mostly listened to Mod/Ska and Reggae.

    Nirvana was great,Pearl Jam,Alice in Chains,Sponge,Stone Temple Pilots...

    Madonna and Cyndi Lauper, Run DMC , Motley Crue and stuff is old school to me.Plus Pete Rock & CL Smooth, Ghetto Boys, LL Cool J,Wu-Tang Clan...

    I'm 29.
