Hello. I am wearing O2 Optics which I understand are extended wear lenses. I only wear in the day for around 12 hours, not overnight. As they're extended wear I thought I'd be able to wear them maybe 6 days a week, so why does my optician say I should only wear them 5 days a week?
I think they are great. I switched from dailies because they were pretty drying. I'd recommend them to anyone having the same problem.
Some practioners among all of the three O's feel that the eye needs "a day of rest" each week. Appearently yours is one that believes this.
