    How we compare progressive design?

    Usual people will say that design good,those design better, this design is best,actually how we compare the progressive lenses design?From isocylinder chart or other,how to compare??

    Four main areas:

    1. Isocylinder line: More = more distrotion

    2. Vector plots: Shows amount (by length) and orientation of aberrational astigmatism. Vertical lines are desirable

    3. ADD power lines

    4. Power profile: indicates the start and progression of ADD


    Also the design of the lens is important - Hard / Soft / Multi.
