Inventory software

I am looking for a stand-alone inventory program to manage my frame inventory. My office uses NextGen Practice Management software and I do not want to purchase another integrated package just to keep up with inventory. Any suggestions?

If you don't want to purchase more software do it old fashion way. Use build to sheets and count the inventory.

Microsoft Money or Small Business Accounting, Quicken, Quick Books or Peachtree. Any of these inexpensive and well supported applications will do a great job of inventory management. And, if you want to expand into other accounting and management area you have all that you need right on your desktop. They also offer trial versions for evaluation.

I have a software package that I developed for my own dispensary. I'd sell it for $199, Mac or PC. It has perpetual inventory, meaning that as you enter the frame # in the patient card it is tagged as sold in the frame file. It will keep track of how many times you've sold that frame, how many you've purchased, how many you've returned for credit. When a salesperson comes in, you can print out an inventory from that company and see the age of each frame so you can decide to return it or order more. You can print out an inventory by frame bar so taking inventory can be done as an ongoing process instead of one big chore. Of course it keeps track of patients, RXs, and cash receipts and deposits.
