Are these available through out the world? Is there a waiting time?

    New Products

I also saw most of these at Mido

    Comments as follows:

1.76 Plastic material - Tokai has always had a higher index material and when Essilor developed the 1.74 they responded.

1.74 Bifocals - (Did not notice)

Double aspherics - front surface which corrects independentley for each meridian: I think he is referring to the Hoya freeform product which must use two sided to avoid patent infringment if all of the backside contains the progressive.

Sunsensors Plus - twice the strength of CR39 so good for rimless: (Did not see this product.)

SV 1.74 up to +12.25 - (Did not notice)

1.76 Plastic - I've been hearing rumors for some time, who is actually making it??

1.74 Bifocals - again rumors, but I'm glad to see them

Double Asherics - Made by Augen in Florida, Trivex only

SV 1.74 up to +12.25 - been available in the Far East for some time, my Korean supplier has similar (not FDA approved)

Tokai produce the 1.76 material. The guy on the stand was pretty arrogant, by the way, and refused to indicate any prices unless I gave him a large junk of my semi-finished business.:(

I hope to be producing the 1.74 bifocal (I will get the semi-finished).

Augen now also produce this double AS in CR39, and are the first to fabricate the Sunsensors Plus , (according to the guy on the stand) and is also 1.6 material.
