Just doing some clean up of my 'favourites' and came across these two sites I had forgotten about.
Must read.

The first link is an unregulated morass. I used to visit it.
yeah, visioncareforums is pretty bad. The board is dead.
seems bad form to discuss other boards in this way - the figures speak for themselves

Visioncare forums has 681,994
therefore vision careforums has about 10x less traffic, but is in no way dead, It is the fourth best position out of 13 listed

Visioncare forums may have lots of traffic, but I'd agree that the board is dead. Over the past year or so, it's become primarily a place for consumer questions and gripes. And as drk pointed out, it's completely unregulated. The majority of threads have no replies. And most of the people who do respond are consumers who are unqualified to be giving advice.
QDO1, I agree that it's impolite to criticise. However, the figures don't indicate the difference in quality between VCF and OB.

Regardless of their "ratings," I noticed that the Eyecare Business forum averages a new post only once every two days. OptiBoard has been averaging a new post once every two hours. Before making statements check their ratings

Actually a bit more than one post every two hours.Originally Posted by Darryl Meister
