I'm curious that if you're in charge of the frame order, how would you find the supplier and when you change new suppliers from time to time?
Just put the word out you want to change suppliers, salesmen will appear like vultures at a day old carcus.

If you want to take your pick of suppliers, go to the closest Vision Expo. I also consider these factors:
-- Do I want to deal with a large company (examples: Safilo, Marchon), or a small one (examples: Grant Estroff, New Millenium)? Each has its virtues.
-- How do the supplier's offerings fit with my product mix?
-- What terms are they willing to offer (discounts, billing, return policy, etc)?
-- And, do I think the sales rep is reasonably helpful and honest?
As to that last requirement, I really want a sales rep who's cooperative and will go to bat with the company for me when I need it. And, believe it or not, they're out there . . . Just be picky. :bbg:
