I have been wearing Varilux progressives for about 8 -10 years now with no problems. I've recently (July 2004) had the Thin & Light 1.67 with Panamic, and just picked up my new T&L 1.67 with Physio 360. As soon as put them on I knew there was something wrong. Not just that "get used to" thing. The optical shop I go to does mainly Hoya stuff so I had to tell them about the Physio 360 and they ordered it for me from some lab in Augusta. The girls adjusted the temples and nose pads, but still something was wrong. She said to take them home over the weekend and see what happens. I can tell there is something wrong now!! I never has such problems getting used to new lens in the past. They will re-do the 360 for me at n/c or put me back into Panamic, one time only! I'd rather get the more improved and advanced 360, but am lost as to what to do. Are there any head or eye movement tests I can do at home this weekend to confirm that maybe the Augusta lab made some mistakes?? Any other suggestions??? I'll put my old and new prescriptions below:
OLD prescription July 2004
OD -4.25 DS
OS -4.25 -2.00 axis 168
add +2.00
NEW Prescription Jan. 2006
R -4.25 -0.25 axis 102
L -4.25 -2.00 axis 166
add +2.25
Thanks for any help or advice,
Bobb-Ga.
