Cartier 3 Piece

Does anyone know where I can get spare nuts and bolts for a Cartier 3 peice mounting? I was working on a patients Cartier frame today and the new lenses are slightly thicker so now I need longer bolts, problem being they have a large square head, and knowing Cartier most likely 18k gold plated.

If you dont have a Cartier account you will not be able to get the screws.. BTW they are prety expensive.

The last time i was in this situation I used screws from a Smilen eyewear frame that is a copy of cartier...

I could get them from a friend just give me a model number or whatever......

Unfortunately we don't have a Cartier account, so no dice there.

High_Abbe I would greatly appreciate any assistance, I don't know the model number, all the is on the frame is a serial number on the bridge and the usual "made in france", cartier, "Natural Horn" on the temples.

BTW just to satisfy my own curiousity, what does a frame like this retail for in the US?

This frame retails at about $1500 give or take a few hundred.

So, let me research how much the screws cost and I'll get back to you.

you might ask them if you need a special tool kit too, as some of the high end spex require this (specific bolt drivers etc.)
