We currently have a Central Frame Database/ Pricing Specialist career opportunity at our Dallas, Texas location.



POSITION PURPOSE: The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of operations necessary to manage, organize, and maintain the pricing and frame data in the Central Frame Database. This position performs a variety of pricing operations necessary for the Central Frame Database. This position will also perform general pricing input for RX Pricing in the Central Pricing Repository.



PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:



· 70 % - To manage the Frame Database operations

· Hold a Bi-Monthly Frame Alignment meeting with ELOA’s CFDC

· Work directly with the ELOA Ophthalmic Frame Manager as needed by the business.

· Work directly with the ELOA Safety Division to complete Frame Pricing as needed by the business.

· Organize Central Frame Pricing.

· Maintain Pricing Groups as they relate to RX Pricing in an excel file on the shared drive

· Keep electronic records of the kits the vendor sends by date and return date.

· Keep electronic records of the cost and resale requests and dates of receipt and updates

· Maintain frame vendor relationships for frame kits

· Trace frame into Central Frame Data base

· Organize and send kits back to vendor

· Update or add cost and resale pricing to the Frames in the Central Frame Data base

· Maintain the Access Application that the Frames reside in for ELOA Laboratories

· 20% - To perform a variety of Central Pricing related duties.

· Implement Price File Maintenance

· Update, create or add pricing to the Central Pricing Data Base

· Receive and resolve pricing Help Desk Tickets

· 10% - Pricing Resource for Projects



***Travel will be limited to occasional lab trips and meetings



EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS



· BBA or BBS or equivalent work experience required

· High School Equivalency required

· 2-3 years of Optical LMS Pricing Experience preferred

· 3-4 years of previous Optical Laboratory experiences preferred

· Working knowledge of PC and XP required

· Previous Content Data Bases Management desired

· Previous Optical Frame Database management desired.

· Effective oral and written communication skills required

· Proven Project Management skills desired

· Proven Time Management skills required

· Ability to multitask required

· Knowledge of basic Unix and SQL desired

· Knowledge Networking concepts desired

· Ability to Train others desired

· Ability to deal with a fast paced dynamic environment

· The ability to trouble shoot problems remotely via telephone or remote data connection

· Strong problem solving skills

· Ability to work well with others at all levels of the operations.
