1.74 index progressive

Love this new progressive lens forum. :cheers:

I am trying to switch a good customer out of Zeiss gradal top 1.8 glass to a 1.74 plastic for weight reasons. She is 75 years old and the weight on the nosepads is starting to become an issue. Here is the RX:
-5.00-1.25 X147
-3.75-5.75 X073
Add: +3.00 OU
Hight is 18mm
The lenses I wanted to use were Panamic 1.74 Alize except they wont do them because of the 5.75 cyl. They will only go up to a 4.00 cyl. Same problem with the Nikon i 174. Why can't they just cut a friggen lap??

Any ideas appreciated, before I just use the 1.8 glass?

1.67 would do a fine job
