I opened my car door, reached for some papers from the passenger seat, and heard a rather loud boom as my driver's side door was torn off by a passing truck!

Made for a pretty bad day, but at least my leg wasn't out the door yet!

PS- I've never met anyone who got married on Friday 13th!

This is irrelevent to Friday the 13th, but marriage on an odd day, do I have a story for you.

My buddy's brother got a girl knocked up so they decided to do the decent thing and get married. When? Sept 11. Why? They knew it would be an easy day to remember. The thing is that this was months away, and by the time they got married she was nine months pregnant.
