$35 for Vision Expo?

Am I the only one a little ticked off?

I usually register early for Vision Expo because it was always free if early, but now it is $35 if early, $75 if late.

My most inexpensive show I spent about $5,000, at my most expensive I bought $40,000 in equipment and frames.

The New york hotels have gone up in cost, I already have reservations. But I'm considering cancelling out of principle, I always leave VEE thinking I spent too much, and the one year I missed I felt good about not spending.

As long as you went last year it is free. Otherwise talk to one of your frame reps, they can get you in for free.

Use the registration form w/the ID number on it and it should be free. I trie to use it online, but it wouldn't take it. Just call it in.

I'm just popping in for Friday and leaving the same day. I'll grab a cheap Comfort Inn in Pa on the way home.

I finally got through and got registered. As mentioned by others in earlier posts, if you didn't attend last year, they will charge you. We wanted to add a name to this years attendees, but he's going to have to wear a different name for the day (Vision Expo's suggestion-not mine). I guess they're trying to give everyone one less excuse to attend the show.

That's exactly the reason I don't buy the high priced frames.
