as a qualified Audiologist too, I find this ammusing. For years, audiology has been at the poor end of the technological feeding chain - presumably not a sexy enough a product. I was fitting hearing aids to spectacle frames 20 years ago, and it was all pretty lo-tech stuff.
If you ever heard the amplifier / transducer sound quality of a hearing aid you would be horrified.. and now... Bluetooth and MP3 players in a pair of sunglasses! I only hope this fad has the swing off of introducing some decent technology into the corner of the electronics field that is so often overlooked
Before you all start screaming "digital" at me, that was a huge step change in audiology, but perhaps only 30% of what was really needed
