Tell me a story. What is this about?

Is it atoric? Does the power drop at the bottom?

I know this product is offered in Europe- I wasn't aware that it had been introduced in Canada. I've had my hands full with some other products preparing for launch, so I only have a cursory knowledge of the anti-fatigue product.

However, I'll be working with someone tomorrow who should know all about it. I'll ask some questions and get back to you ASAP!

In the meantime here's all I could find on the web...

September saw the launch of the new Essilor Anti-Fatigue unifocal, which features a design that makes it more comfortable for non-presbyopic adults to wear.

I didn't follow the link, but I did want to follow-up with what I discovered (which is probably contained in the link).

The anti-fatigue lens is extremely aspheric and offers a +0.60 "addition" at the bottom of the lens. As Robert stated, it is intended for pre-presbyopes and provides accommodative relief for near tasks. I'm told it works pretty well (from someone who uses the lens- age 32), and I'm arranging to try a pair myself (since I spend about 9 hours a day on the computer!).

I believe it is fit like a progressive, and all you do is specify the distance power (just like SV).

    Pete
