Looking for a presbyopic Optiboarder with cylinder...

Anyone out there have an Rx with over -1.50 cylinder (especially at an oblique angle) wearing PALs?

If so, post your Rx, and if it is in range of a new product we're bringing out in January, I'll FedEx you a voucher for 1.67 with Crizal Alize for you to order and try. I can do a couple, so bring 'em on!

You will receive information about Essilor's new products after the official launch on January 9th. I received permission to let a couple of you sample the new product, but I can't tell you anything about it (other than to say we have some new products on the way ;^).

If GOS_Queen, eyesonjohn, and Chip (who contacted me earlier) would send your mailing address to my email (phanlin@essilorusa.com), I'll get a voucher out to each of you with instructions where to send it! You'll receive your lenses right about the time of the launch (I believe the range only goes to -4.00 cyl, I'll have to get back with GOS_Queen on that one).

Thanks, and be on the lookout for your Brand Consultant!

I've already arranged to send out 3 vouchers- which was my limit. So, we'll have to see how they perform!

Thanks for everyone who submitted Rxs. Those of you receiving vouchers should see them in the mail soon!

On a side note, I got independent confirmation of the new version of Alize today. My source, who is well-placed, shall remain anonymous.

Sadly, all I got before the source clammed up was, "some sort of clear coat...hard coat". A tougher scratch coat, maybe?
