    Wave Help with PAL identification marks

    I have been had an accident and can no longer spot the engravings as we have always done by holding the glasses up to the overhead light , as my neck will no longer allow that posture. Can anyone give me a suggestion ? PLease help ! This is a real pain in the neck .

    Look at a light that is located horizontally and you will not have to bend your neck.

    use a desk angle poise lamp bolted on the table, and stand up above it

    Essilor has a great lens identifier that is easy to use and they rebate it back with coupons on their product. Contact your wholesale lab.

    I also have a neck problem and use a standard PLL table lamp facing downwards towards the table.

    Below it, on the table is a mirror onto which I have glued some matt black strips of material.

    I have to use a head held magnifier these days also (somethingto do with age!!!), and I'm pleased to say I can see and identify and mark everything

    Try looking down at the lens using an overhead light reflecting off the concave side of the lens instead of the front side. Usually I can find the marks just at the edge of the reflection.
