I love Flamenco - so yes. Heard him with Luna Negra live which was stunning. I prefer the Spanish edge more than the new age edgeOriginally Posted by Chairtime

Time out was the name of the album followed by Time Further Out.Take 5 was my favorite cut but Blue Rondo ala Turk was great too. My first Brubeck album was Jazz Red Hot and Cool back in 54 or so.I believe it was he who first coined the expression "progressive Jazz" because he would start with a theme and let it progress from there, always returning to the theme.Originally Posted by Spexvet

First heard Radiohead play live in Oxford in a tavern (B4 they were famous) Damm good then, damm good now. From memory the beer was flowing pretty good that night too
Currently listning to Aphex Twin - cracked a bottle open ...
I'm on a big-time Belle & Sebastian kick right now, though you can't really go wrong with Radiohead. The Bends is one of the greatest albums ever recorded.
And my vote for greatest jazz pianist goes to Bill Evans, although I primarily say it because I was friends with his son in high school. His playing is incredibly beautiful and spare.
Grandma got run over by a reindeer...:(
