    Confused LARGE frames 60/17

    hI gUYS,

I am at whits end...I am desperately looking for a STURDY GENTS METAL frame in GOLD , SIZES: 60/17 or 59/17. He is used to wearing the old METZLER frames of last century. He is a rather large gent with a narrow PD.

I have looked everywhere but cannot seem to find a frame locally. I was hoping someone here would be able to assist me.

    Regards

    Karl

    Try Safilo. . .

I know that some of the Elasta series comes 59 & 60 eye. Those big bug shields are getting harder and harder to find. Good luck!!

    How many do you need?

I've got quite a few men's double bars in 59 & 61 eyes. I even haver one that is a 63 eyue. I've got at least 75 of them, so let me know what you need.

You might give Seiko Titanium a look. They used to have a couple of styles in large eyesizes.

If you are looking for a Rectangle double bar, Luxottica has the Carlos and you can special order up to a 66-26. I'm not sure if Marchon still makes the Jonathan, but that was a large mens metal.

    Happy hunting

Also, there is a line I have called XXL's they are made I think by A&O ? Optical. I am going to check on that tomorrow. Nice frames, some are like 60 with large or small B measurement. I have had a lot of success with my bigger guys with them.

Some of the old Berdel/Sferoflex line come that big, though the 60+ eye size is starting to get discontinued. Quite a few Marchons go that big, but my giant frame of choice right now is Clearvision's Big Dan. 18 bridge, and comes in 58, 60, and 62, eye sizes, and I know it comes in gold--I had one in my hands earlier today. Cheap, too.
