recommendation for me?

hello,

i am -4, looking to purchase a new pair of glasses.

i wish to have a thin lens with an excellent coating that resists smudges, water,etc.

for the coating it seems like the zeiss carat advantage is a good choice. (seems like the consensus is that this coating is better than the teflon and crizal one...not sure)

i like transitions, but wish to try the newer formulations that are faster...(i.e. LifeRx from visionease?)

aspheric would be nice as well, or a high index like 1.67 since i seek a thinner and lighter lens than i currently have.

so what are my options?

seems like i have to select within this zeiss approved list of lens.

You have made a good choice and have used the occasion to plug ZEISS CARAT lenses at the same time.

i don't know what the fastet 'transitions' is called. (is the brand called LifeRx? it is not listed on the ziess carat approved lens).

basically i wish to know the best lens that is thin (aspheric or high index of both) and the fastest transitions.... this is for the carat advantage coating.

another question... how does the protective coat underneat all the other coats help protect the lens from getting scratched?
