Comparisons?

I need to do a Price/Product Comparison for Zeiss, Sola, Hoya, Essilor (Varilux and Nikon), Rodenstock, and Kodak. I was assigned this out of the blue and have no idea what products are comparable from one Brand to Another. Could ya'll help me out?

I am looking for the prices in the Korean Market basically.


I have always been told to utilize every source possible when conducting research, even for something east. Thank you!

You can research the ophthalmic lens products that are available from various optical manufacturers by going to the Internet Website for each company that you want to include. You can find a list of the Websites at the top of this Web page:

Scroll down until you see Major Optical Supplier Websites. There are currently 421 Websites in the table. Scan down the left side of the table for the names of the lens companies that you recognize. The Website URLs are on the right side of the table.

As for how to get the price for the lens - since you are a student, I guess that you would have to depend on the friendliness of one or more of the optical retailers (optometrists that dispense, opticians ...) that you could visit or contact using a telephone or Internet Email.
