Can we have a moment of silence to remember Rosa Parks and her struggle for equality?
I met her in the late 60's when I was working for the peace movement. She was a very fine lady and will be greatly missed.

We tend to take it for granted, but imagine the courage it took for this small woman to stand up to years of racial injustice. What impressed me about her was her serenity.
Look, we're agreeing! How nice! Sounds like she had it rough for a long time after she decided to take a stand-harrassment, death threats, etc.. I think EVERYBODY fighting for what they think is right could take a page out of her book. What a lady!
