    sounds painful! also ive never seen anyone with pierced glasses but heard of a few who did that when they were tired of their glasses falling off or the frame hurting their ears. Most people stick with contacts instead :)

    i had a patient one time that had that done, he was a -3.00 and custom made it himself using a long tongue ring for the bridge. he fell asleep in them one time and well as you could guess ripped them off his bridge. ouch!
