Wave ROUND Frames - who's making them

I need to find a fairly sturdy round metal frame in a 52 eye size or larger. Preferably with a tortoise shell finish to the eye wire. There is no such animal in the southern hemisphere! Is there anyone willing to share information on an American or European supplier with a model avaialble?

    Thanks for your help

    Hi Mary Sue -

Check out a company called "Retrospecs". they've got all kinds of refurbished vintage eyewear for sale and would definitely have what you're looking for.

    Wink We're using a Silhouette chassis. . .

We cut a round 48mm coquille and drilled it 3 above. Called the patient, had them approve shape and size. Pulled a seg ht. We're just waiting for the lenses right now. You won't find a much tougher chassis around and if your patient has cyl (ours has 4 bucks worth) you won't have to worry about it rolling.

I hope you're having fun and making money!

I have an Oliver Goldsmith frame which is a round eye gold metal front, with a W bridge, measures 46.22 with a light tortoiseshell acetate covered side that might fit the bill. If you want I can try and photograph it so you can see if it is suitable. Please let me know.

Are you looking for a constant supply or just 1 or 2 frames? Thanks

Sferoflex has the Craig frame in 49 or 51 eye size in Tortoise. Not perfectly round but close.
