I agree with Stephanie. I believe it is the nosepads -either silicone or plastic. i've noticed it especially from the Davis lab- the Rx's have a terrible chemical- like smell. I would not write this patient off as a nut case as she might be more sensitive than others.
Speaking of Davis.. I walked into Michaels (the arts and crafts store) and I decided that the smell of the store basically matched the smell of the jobs I receive back from Davis.
I wonder if they share a warehouse...
