Second pair with the one eye (left if left handed, right if right handed) as a round seg, the other single vision. The RS moved to the temple edge.

I fit temporally decentered or very low round segs, which allows golfers to see distance when they look down to putt, yet read the menu at the clubhouse or check the scorecard if they think their buddies are cheating ;-) They may have to tip their head to see near, but all wearers say it's well worth it to have unobstructed distance. I also prefer photochromic lenses overall, since they change according to the weather, which can vary on a course (misty grey a.m.'s can morph into bright sunny noon). For sun, always polarized. Yes, my golfers often had two pairs of golf glasses...a paltry investment considering the clubs in their bag!

    You can also...

run a round 22 or 24 at the very top of the lens. This gives them distance vision for everything at their feet. Then all they have to do is drop their head to be able to fill out their own score card.

One of the pros playing the Crosby at Pebble Beach taught me this trick many years ago.

I hope you're having fun and making money!!

I use Transitions in a flat top, set very low in the bottom of lens. They can also be placed at the top. I have a ball and putter here that I use to help determine correct seg height. I place a post it note where the seg will be and have the wearer address the ball. The post it note can be easily repositioned until it is a safisfactory position. When the post it note is placed low enough that it doesn't interfear, that's where I put the seg.

Of course if they are nearsighted and can read without glasses, you can leave the seg off.

DO NOT use polarized lenses!! If you wear polarized lenses on a putting green, you can't tell if you are putting with the grain or against it.
