Any good websites or sources for employing opticians?

I am looking for websites or other sources for offering employment to opticians. I have tried Opticalemployment.com so far. Any others?

Other than posting an ad in the trade journals and on Optiboard, I would go with the big employment sites, Monster, Workopolis, etc. These tend to stand out in the minds of anyone looking for a job. Yes, you may get bombarded with junky resumes, but their should be a few good ones as well. Alternately, hire a headhunter to do the dirty work for you.

There are a few places..

The NAO has a section called job bank where you can place an ad at no charge www.nao.org

A lot of people are using Craig's list. You can place an ad at no charge there. I got a lot of responses from Optician's there than I did with the ad we placed in the newspaper. www.craigslist.com

If you are with the buying group Vision West, you can place an ad at no charge on their news letter.

Call the local schools that have Optical training courses. They will send you all their graduates!! Plenty of people to interview.

There is also www.careersinsight.com <--(not sure what they charge)
