Nixon stepped down on August 9 1974. My husband proposed to me that day and I got my specially designed wedding/eternity ring the same day 31 years later to mark our 30th wedding anniversary that occured in late June.
My other favorite memory was studying astronomy and playing school in my neighborhood with at least 10 others. We mapped the stars and layed out side under the stars to watch the Persides Meteor showers which currently are at their peak in the NEast area of the sky just above the horizon. 1965-1973 we did this. Maybe I should have thought about another career. What a passion. I am currently getting parts and finishing them to build my own telescope.
Aside from my birthday nothin! It's too dang HOT!

Don't have to mow the lawn anymore cuz it's dead.
It's too hot to do anything 'cept sit around and drink,.... mmm cold beer tastes so much better on a hot day.....think I'll go grab one now!:cheers:

I would say the opening of the Bufflo Bills Camp and my wife and I were married
on Aug.25 1973!;)
