Arrow 4 yr old BOYS & Playmobil

My first born is going to be 4 yrs old in 2 weeks and I'm considering getting him a Playmobil set.

    What was your first set?
    -or-
    What would you recommend?

He's REALLY INTO super hero's, but he's got so much of it already that I'm thinking something a little more age appropriate!

My son loves the pirate stuff. With the ship, and a couple of islands. He has a blast with them.

At 4 I guess it would be Duplos but Judy certainly has the right idea.

I stayed home with mine the first 2 years, but when I went back to work, I alway brought a few empty frame boxes (you can turn them inside out and they all match in color) for him to play with. After 6 months, he had a seperate room where he kept his "bricks". He built forts, barriers to keep us out of his room, bridges, roads, and countless other imaginative creations. He used them outside and when they got banged up and dirty, we threw them on the burn pile and I started bringing more home. He's eight now, but he still has a bunch of them in the basement that he and his buddies use as bunkers. Of course they make great boxes to store his many treasures (locust shells, rocks, fossils, $$, etc...) in .
