    MR-10 Manufacturer

I do not know if you mean who is making lenses with MR-10 or the actual chemical company. There a number of lenses made with MR-10. Seiko, Shamir and I think now Yonger offers lenses in MR-10.

The chemical company is Mitsui Chemical of Japan.

As AWTECH noted, MR-10 is made by Mitsui Toatsu in Japan, as is any high-index material that uses the prefix "MR," including MR-6 (1.6), MR-7 (1.66), and MR-8 (1.6). Seiko uses MR-10 for their 1.67 high-index lenses; most manufacturers use MR-7.

Essilor and Sola both use the MR-7 monomer for their 1.67 products. I also know Signet Armorlite uses the MR-7 for their 1.67.

Also X-Cel Optical's SF 1.67's are made out of the MR-10 material.

Whats the difference between MR-7 and MR-10? Are data sheets available on all the MR materials?

MR-10 is a newer, improved version of MR-7. MR-10 has greater thermal resistance than MR-7, making it less susceptible to heat distortion during the surfacing and coating processes. The MR-10 substrate also demonstrates improved flexural stability and tensile strength.
