    conservative memories...*sigh*

Remember the good ole days, when only conservative politicians controlled a woman's right to prevent pregnancy?

"On 40th Anniversary of the Pill, Reps. Discuss Bill to Guarantee Pharmacies Fill Pill Prescriptions"

    http://www.house.gov/shays/news/2005/june/junepill.htm

They'll fill Viagra prescriptions, And I'll bet they'll fill chemical castration prescriptions, and then they they'll show you who is in charge of your womb!:hammer:

    speaking of conservatives...

There's a fellow who has making the rounds of the talking head shows, esp the conservative ones, who has written a book called "The Cube and the Cathedral", the premise of which is that the decline of Europe and the imminent collapse of European democracy are due to its embrace of secularism. He was chatting up a storm with the loathesome Sean Hannity on this, and of course darkly predicting we (USA) are tempting the same faith if we don't immediately re-install the Ten Commandments into that courthouse in Alabama (I am making up this particular example but you get the drift...)

Anyway, toward the end of the "interview", he made the point that Europe has a low or negative indigenous growth rate and that the Muslim population was growing rapidly, and that Muslims reject democracy. Oh really? Oddly enough Sean did not pounce on the immediately obvious follow up question: "If this is the case, what the hell are we doing in Iraq????"
