lens thickness calculator

Hi all, Im a new member, during a google search, i came across this site looking for a lens thickness calculator. can anybody point me in the right direction? I would like it to show patients thickness differences between different index lenses. I checked the files thread but there is nothing there.

Any help woulkd be appreciated

Check out www.opticampus.com Darryl Meister (one of the Ophthalmic optics forum moderators) has several calculators there and on of them estimates edge thickness. Its pretty cool.
